big mix studio

Big Mix Studio was established 1987. Through the years we have acquired a thorough knowledge in recording, mixing, editing and mastering. The equipment in use today is a careful selection based on the "musicality" in their sonic quality and their ease of use, rather than just trusting the technical specs. The studio was designed by an architect to meet the highest audio standard in recording and listening. We got a big control room, one medium size recording room suitable for the singer or a drum kit, and our main recording room with space enough to fit a choir or a string ensemble.

Analogue equipment brings about that warm "Big Mix Sound". As fond users of Protools HD we are happy for the efficiency and the ease of use, but we would never want to be without our vintage analogue consoles, sound processors and recorders. Our Ampex recorder was previously owned by Mike Oldfield and is oozes of tradition and good vibes. We like to think we have found the combination that supports a perfect match of sound quality, reliability and versatility.
